Managing Streams
In this article, we'll see how you can manage Streams posts.
Deleting a Streams Post or Comment
To delete a Streams post:
- Navigate to the required Streams Home or Group tab.
- Right-click the post you want to delete.
- Select Delete from the menu list.
- Click OK in the alert dialog that appears.
Notes:
- All comments and other activities will be deleted along with the post.
- In a Streams group, you can delete only the posts that you've created.
To delete a Streams comment:
- Click open the Streams post and navigate to the comments section.
- Hover over the comment you want to delete.
- Click the More Options
icon.
- Select Delete from the menu list.
- Click OK in the alert dialog that appears.
Notes:
- If a user has commented on a Streams post you've created, you'll be able to delete that comment.
- However, if you've commented on a post by another user, you'll be unable to delete anyone else's comment but yours.
Copying the Permalink of a Streams Post or Comment
To copy the permalink of a Streams post:
- Navigate to the required Streams Home or Group tab.
- Right-click the post for which you want to copy the permalink.
- Select Permalink from the menu list.
To copy the permalink of a Streams comment:
- Click open the Streams post and navigate to the comments section.
- Hover over the comment you want to delete.
- Click the More Options
icon.
- Select Permalink from the menu list.
Opening a Streams Post in a New Window or Browser
Besides the standard inline view, you can choose to view a Streams post in a new app window or in Zoho Mail web.
To customize this option:
- Navigate to the required Streams Home or Group tab.
- Right-click the post you want to open in a window or browser.
- Choose between Open in Window or Open in Browser from the menu list.
Filtering Streams Posts
To filter the Streams post and list it by whether its an email, note, task, event, message, or bookmark:
- Navigate to the Streams Home or Group tab for which you want to apply the filtered view.
- Click the Filter by Type
icon.
- Choose the required option.
