How do I reset app data?

Occasionally, technical issues during an app update may cause data to become unsynchronized. As a result, you may notice discrepancies in your app’s data across Zoho services.

To resolve this, you may need to manually reset your app data. This action helps restore proper sync and ensures that all information is up to date.

NotesNote: Resetting app data does not delete your account information—it simply reinitializes local data to align with your Zoho account. Other customizations, such as reading preferences, accent colors, app themes, folder emojis, and so on, will be set to default settings.

To reset app data on Windows 11:

  1. Go to Start > Settings > Apps.

  2. Select Installed Apps in the page that appears.

  3. Search for Trident.

  4. Click the More options icon next to Trident in the search results.

  5. Select Advanced options from the drop-down list.

  6. In the page that appears, scroll down to the Reset section.

  7. Click the Reset button.

  8. Confirm the action by clicking Reset in the pop-up that opens.

  9. Once completed, sign in to Trident.

NotesNote: If you are using Windows 10, then go to Start > Settings > Apps. Search for Trident under Apps and Features. Click the More options icon and follow the steps mentioned above.
