Searching for Calendar Events

In this article, we'll see how you can search for calendar events based on various criteria, including title, location, creator, organizers, attendees, events with attachments and links, and so on.

Understanding Search Parameters

Search in Calendar offers more than 15 distinct search parameters. Each parameter and its function is described below.

Search fields:

Title	Lists events with the specified title
Description	Lists events with the specified description
Contains	Lists events with specified title, description, or location
Created By	Lists events created by a specified user
Repeating	Lists repeating events
Location	Lists events with a specified location
Organizer	Lists events with a specified organizer
Calendar	Lists events in a specified calendar
All Day Events	Lists events occurring all day
Private Events	Lists events that are marked as private
Attendee	Lists events with a specified attendee

Search by attachment and link details:

Attachments	Lists events with attachments
Link	Lists events with a specified link
Has Link	Lists all events with links or URLs

Search for events by date:

Date	Lists events on a specified date
To Date	Lists events to a specified date
From Date	To list events from a specified date

Note: You can search for events between a specific date range using the From and To Date filters.

Searching for Events

There are three ways to search for events:

Begin typing your search keywords in the search bar and select the relevant parameter from the listing that appears.

Choose the parameter first and then type in the search keyword.

Include multiple search parameters in the search bar to narrow down the search results.
