You can view all of your calendars in the left pane of the Calendar module. They will be categorized as:
My Calendars
Group Calendars
App Calendars
Other Calendars
You can add as many calendars as required under these categories. Each of these calendars and their corresponding events will be color coded. You can choose to enable or disable any of these calendars by checking or unchecking the respective calendar.
To get a glimpse of only the planned events, you can use the agenda view. You will find it right below your list of calendars.
It's split into two parts: Monthly spread and events list. By moving the cascading arrow up or down, you can expand or shrink the size of the agenda view.
Description | Demonstration |
Up and down arrows: Helps navigate to the previous and next months respectively.
Radio button: Helps go to the current day in one click.
Colored dots: Indicates which calendar's event is taking place first on any given day. |
Description | Demonstration |
View the event details by clicking on the event from the agenda event list.
All-day events precede time-bound events in the listing.
The listed events will be color coded according to their Calendar categorization. For instance, if the Personal Calendar is highlighted in blue, then in the agenda event list view, all events happening in the Personal Calendar will also be listed in blue. |
Depending on how you want to view your scheduled events, you can switch between daily, weekly, work, or monthly view.
To do so:
Click the button showing the current calendar view, adjacent to the button labeled Today.
Select the desired calendar view from the drop-down menu.
To view the present, past, or future events:
Click the Today button to view the current day's, week's, work week's, or month's events.
Click the left arrow before the Today button to view past events.
Click the right arrow after the Today button to view future events.
To view an event's detail in the Grid View:
Click on the event you want to view.
A pop up will appear with the event title, time and date of the event, attendee details, links, any attachments, and other event details.
Notes:
Hovering over the event in the calendar grid will display the event details. You can join existing meetings or initiate new ones from there.
Clicking on any date from the agenda monthly spread will automatically display the scheduled agendas below.
While using the Calendar module, you can enter a focused view by collapsing the left pane. |
You can view your scheduled events in multiple time zones in your calendar. To do so:

Search and select the time zone you want using the search box or by scrolling through the list of options.

To replace a time zone with another one:

In the pop up that appears, search and select the time zone you want using the search box or by scrolling through the list of options.
