You can add one or more of your Zoho Mail accounts and easily manage multiple mailboxes, without signing in and out each time. The unified inbox will help you conveniently view and manage all of your emails from the added Mail accounts in one place.
Trident allows you to access and draft emails even when you have no internet connection. The drafted emails will be queued in the Outbox folder and will be sent to the recipients once the connectivity is restored.
Trident offers three types of folders: Default, Smart, and Custom.
Default Folders: These are the system folders like Inbox, Drafts, Snoozed, Templates, Snoozed, Sent, Spam, Trash, and Outbox. They are fundamental to the email client, hence can neither be renamed nor deleted.
Inbox: Incoming emails are placed under the Inbox folder. You can create subfolders to organize your inbox further.
Drafts: Emails that are composed but are yet to be sent are placed under the Drafts folder.
Templates: Emails created in a pre-defined format are placed under the Templates folder.
Snoozed: Emails that are snoozed are placed under the Snoozed folder. After the snooze duration expires, they will reappear in their original folder.
Sent: Emails you send are placed under the Sent folder.
Spam: Emails detected as spam and those you mark as spam are placed under the Spam folder.
Trash: Emails deleted from any of the folders will be placed under the Trash folder.
Outbox: Emails scheduled to send later or recurrently will be placed under the Outbox folder.
Smart Folders: There are two smart folders (Notification and Newsletters) that automatically filter newsletters and promotional emails.
Newsletter: Newsletters and promotional emails will be placed under the Newsletter folder.
Notification: Notifications and alert emails will be placed under the Notification folder.
Custom Folders: You can create new folders and subfolders to organize your emails and assign filters.
Tags also help in categorizing emails. They are similar to Folders, except that you can apply several tags to one email. The tagged email will appear under the respective tag and also remain in the Inbox.
There are four standard views to access emails based on their read, flagged, and archived status.
Unread: All the unread emails can be viewed here.
All Messages: All the emails in your inbox can be viewed here. This view will house all emails irrespective of whether they are read, unread, or tagged under a specific category.
Flagged: All the flagged emails can be viewed here. Emails can be flagged as Info, Follow-up, and Important.
Archived: All the archived emails can be viewed here. This view will preserve emails and make them searchable whenever necessary.
The email list displays emails corresponding to the respective Folder, Tag, or View that is selected. Right-clicking on any email, you can reply to it, forward it, mark it as spam, archive it, delete it, set a reminder, and snooze it.
Emails displayed corresponding to their respective folders can be filtered by:
All
Unread
Attachments
Flagged
Tags
Archived
You can read the selected email in detail view and take actions using options like:
Moving the email to another folder
Deleting
Tagging
Marking as spam
Flagging
Archiving
Snoozing
Adding Reminder
With a right-click action, these email-centric actions are also accessible in the email list view.
The Mail Composer is your dedicated space to draft emails and format them using the options available in the rich text editor. You can add attachments, insert images and signatures, and set email priorities. Additionally, you can share emails as drafts, set reminders, and send emails right away, later, or even schedule them recurrently.
The Mail Composer includes the following fields:
From: The email address of the author of the email. You can link multiple email accounts and send emails from the selected account.
To: Primary recipient of the email.
Cc (Carbon Copy): Secondary recipients of the email. Specifies the recipients to whom the email should be copied to.
Bcc (Blind Carbon Copy): Specifies the recipients to whom the email should be copied, without exposing the email addresses to the primary and secondary recipients.
Subject: The first text that recipients see after the sender's name when an email reaches the Inbox.
The search feature in Mail has more than 45 distinct parameters. You can search for emails by using a combination of search filters based on senders and recipients, email content, attachment details, date, and other related parameters, to find exactly what you're looking for.
