To configure the Zoho CRM widget and access it from Trident:
Log in to your Zoho Mail web account.
Click the Toggle eWidget icon in the right pane.
Search for Zoho CRM and click it open.
If it doesn't open, toggle on the Enable button.
Choose a portal from the drop-down menu to finish setting up.
The CRM widget's home page has the following functions:
Create Lead/Create Contact: Enables you to create and store leads and contacts in your CRM database.
Daily Activities: Displays the CRM activities created or scheduled by you to carry out on that day.
Actions: Displays and enables you to manage the leads, contacts, and templates in your CRM account.
The CRM widget links an email address with its corresponding CRM data. If an email address is not in your CRM database, you will be presented with options to create them as a lead or contact. If they already are one, then it will display the lead or contact's information.
To create a lead or a contact from an email in selection:
On the CRM widget's home page, choose between Create Lead or Create Contact.
Click open the email address drop-down menu and select the email address that you want to create as a lead or contact.
Fill in the required details in the lead or contact form that opens.
Click Save.
To edit a lead or contact's information:
In the Actions section, choose between Leads or Contacts.
Select the desired Leads or Contacts view from the drop-down filter.
Click open the lead or contact that you want to edit from the list that appears.
Click the More Options icon next to the Send Email button.
Select Edit from the menu list.
Make the required changes.
Click Save.
You can also click the Edit icon next to the Lead Details or Contact Details tile, to edit the lead or contact's information. | |
Alternatively, you can search for the lead or contact whose information you want to edit using the Search Bar > More Options > Edit. |
To delete a lead or a contact:
In the Actions section, choose between Leads or Contacts.
Select the desired Leads or Contacts view from the drop-down filter.
Click open the lead or contact that you want to delete from the list that appears.
Click the More Options icon next to the Send Email button.
Select Delete from the menu list.
In the delete alert dialog that appears, click Yes.
To convert a lead to a contact:
In the Actions section, click Leads.
Select the desired Leads view from the drop-down filter.
Click open the lead you want to convert as a contact.
Click the More Options icon next to the Send Email button.
Select Convert from the menu list.
In the alert dialog that appears, click Convert.
Searching for Leads or Contacts
To search for a lead or contact:
Type the lead or contact's email address in the search bar.
Hit Enter.
To filter and view your leads and contacts:
In the Actions section, choose between Leads or Contacts.
Click open the lead or contact drop-down filter menu.
Select the desired view and the leads and contacts will be displayed in the list accordingly.
The Daily Activities section displays all of the CRM activities you've created or scheduled to carry out on that day. You can toggle between other days in the Calendar to view your previous and upcoming activities.
To create a task, call, or meeting:
In the Daily Activities section, click + Task, + Call, or + Meeting.
Fill in the required details on the Task, Call, or Meeting activities page.
Click Save.
Alternatively, to create a task, call, or a meeting for a lead or a contact:
Search for and click open the lead or contact.
Scroll down to the Activities section, and click + Task, + Call, or + Meeting.
Fill in the required details on the Task, Call, or Meeting activities page.
Click Save.
To edit a task, call, or meeting:
Click open the task, call, or meeting that you want to edit.
Click the Edit icon.
Make the required changes.
Click Save.
To delete a task, call, or meeting:
Click open the task, call, or meeting that you want to delete.
Click the Delete icon.
In the delete alert dialog that appears, click Yes.
The Actions section displays the leads, contacts, and templates in your CRM account and enables you to access and manage them.
To send an email to a lead or a contact using a CRM email template:
In the Actions section, choose between Leads or Contacts.
Select the desired Leads or Contacts view from the drop-down filter.
Click on a lead or contact to view its corresponding CRM information.
Click Send Email next to the lead or contact's email address.
In the Send Email form, click Select Template and pick the relevant template to send.
Choose when to send it by clicking Send Immediately or Schedule Later.
Click Send.
Associating an email with a lead or a contact will load their information in the CRM Widget when the email is opened. To do so:
In the Actions section, choose between Leads or Contacts.
Select the desired Leads or Contacts view from the drop-down filter.
Click on a lead or contact to view its corresponding CRM information.
In the title that says, "Associate this email with this Lead/Contact", click Yes, associate.
To create a note for a lead or a contact:
In the Actions section, choose between Leads or Contacts.
Select the desired Leads or Contacts view from the drop-down filter.
Click open the lead or contact's information.
Scroll down to the Notes tile.
Click Create New Note.
In the Notes Editor, provide a title and add a description.
Click Save.
To create a deal for a contact:
In the Actions section, select Contacts.
Select the desired Contacts view from the drop-down filter.
Click open the contact's information.
Scroll down to the Deals tile.
Click Create New Deal or the Create Deal icon.
Fill in the required details.
Click Save.
