In this article, we'll see how the Zoom eWidget in Trident enables you view and manage all of your Zoom meetings.
To integrate Zoom with Trident:
Log in to your Zoho Mail web account.
Click the Configure Settings icon at the top-right corner of the app.
In the App Settings page, navigate to General > Integrations > Extensions.
Click Configure on the tile that says Zoom.
Click Authenticate.
Log in to your Zoom account on the new page by entering your credentials.
Click Access Zoom.
The Zoom eWidget's home page has the following functions:
Upcoming and Previous Meeting Tabs: Displays all upcoming and past meetings.
Scheduling a Meeting: Allows you to schedule a Zoom meeting.
Starting a Meeting: Enables you to start a Zoom meeting instantly.
Joining a Meeting: Enables you to join an existing meeting.
All your upcoming meetings can be viewed in the "Upcoming" tab of the Zoom eWidget. From here, you can:
View the meeting time and the time zone it is set to.
Click the Copy link icon to copy the meeting link.
Click the Insert to Compose icon to add the meeting details along with the meeting link to the Mail Composer.
Click Start to initiate the meeting.
The Zoom eWidget automatically takes details from the selected email and populates the meeting form. Here’s how it works:
The email’s subject line becomes the title of your Zoom meeting.
The body of the email is added as the meeting description.
Email addresses from the "From," "To," and "CC" fields are included as meeting participants.
Date and duration can be manually entered according to the requirement.
To schedule a meeting manually:
Click the Schedule a Meeting option at the bottom-right corner of the Zoom eWidget.
Provide a title and description for the meeting.
Select the date and time for the meeting.
Choose the appropriate time zone.
Type the email addresses of the participants you wish to invite.
Check the Meeting Passcode option to secure the meeting with a password.
Adjust any additional meeting preferences as needed.
Click Schedule.
To start a Zoom meeting instantly:
Click Start Meeting at the bottom of the Zoom eWidget.
In the meeting popup that appears, enter the meeting topic.
To copy the meeting link, click the Copy option.
To invite participants via email, click Mail. The meeting details will automatically be filled in the Mail Composer. Add the required participants in the To or Cc fields, then click Send.
Once you're done, click Launch Meeting.
A personal room is your own virtual conference space that is always available without the need for booking. Attendees can join through the link. To start a personal room meeting, click the Start button next to the Personal Room option. This will automatically launch the meeting without requiring you to enter any meeting details.
Notes: When you hover over the personal room option, you can:
Click the Copy Link icon to copy your personal room link.
Click Insert to Compose to add the Personal Room link to an email.
To join a meeting:
Click Join a Meeting at the bottom of the eWidget.
Enter the meeting ID.
Click Join.
The Zoom eWidget enables you to edit and delete meetings.
You can edit any of your scheduled meetings. To do so:
Click open the meeting you want to edit.
Click the Edit Meeting icon in the top-right corner.
Make the necessary changes.
Click Update.
To delete a meeting:
Click open the meeting you want to delete.
In the Meeting info section, click Delete.
In the alert that appears, click OK.
To remove Zoom's integration with Trident:
Log in to your Zoho Mail account.
Click the Toggle eWidget icon in the right pane.
Search for Zoom and click it open.
Click the Edit Settings icon.
Remove the authenticated domain and click Yes in the alert that appears.
