Issue: When updating the app to 1.4.0.0 or a higher version, users may encounter an alert message indicating that the old version of Trident has not been automatically uninstalled or might notice two apps installed in their system.
Workaround for Windows 10:
To uninstall the old version of Trident manually:
Navigate to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps and features.
Select Trident and click Advanced options.
Confirm the version number displayed. If it is older than V.1.4.0.0, it is the outdated version and should be uninstalled.
Scroll down and click Uninstall.
In the alert that appears, click Uninstall.
Workaround for Windows 11:
Navigate to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
Click the More options icon beside Trident.
Select Advanced options.
Confirm the version number displayed. If it is older than V.1.4.0.0, it is the outdated version and should be uninstalled.
Scroll down and click Uninstall.
In the alert that appears, click Uninstall.
Note: Before uninstalling the application, verify the version number. Only proceed with uninstallation if the version is older than V.1.4.0.0.
