App installation failed with error message: The appinstaller uri https://downloads.zohocdn.com/trident/windows/Trident.appinstaller is already being used by another package and cannot be applied to package Zoho.Trident.Sideload_p2mzwbqt4767m until the association is removed. (0x80004005)

Workaround:

  1. Navigate to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.

  2. Search for Trident using the search bar.

  1. Click the More Options icon beside Trident and select Uninstall from the drop-down menu..

  1. Once uninstalled, go to www.zoho.com/trident to install the latest version.



NotesNote: For Windows 10 users, navigate to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & Features. Select Trident and click Uninstall.

If the above workaround isn't successful:

 

1. Open the Start Menu, type PowerShell in the search bar, and select Run as Administrator

2. In the window that appears, paste the command listed below and hit Enter to check if Trident is already installed.

3. If Trident is already installed, uninstall it by typing the following command.

"Remove-AppxPackage -Package "ZohoCorp.ZohoTrident.Sideload_1.3.2.0_x64__wxj3s6sf1hbs0" -AllUsers"
4. Once uninstalled, go to www.zoho.com/trident to install the latest version.
