Installation Error: Error in parsing the app package



Workaround 1:

  • Check whether a VPN is enabled. If so, disable it and reinstall Trident.

Workaround 2:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy.

  2. Under Manual proxy setup, check if Use a proxy server is turned on. If it is, turn it off.


Workaround 3:

  • If the issue persists after following the above steps, check the Automatically detect settings option, change its current state, and try again.
