When using a password manager, it's important to regularly audit user activity to monitor and eliminate threats. To make auditing simpler, Zoho Vault offers automated schedulers for frequently monitored reports. Using the Scheduler feature, admins and users can receive copies of relevant reports to their registered email addresses on their preferred weekly or monthly basis.
Note: This feature is only available in the Professional and Enterprise edition of Zoho Vault.
Creating a recurring schedule
To create a schedule:
Log in to your Zoho Vault account as an admin or super admin.
Click Settings, then select Scheduler under Admin Configurations.
Click Create Schedule.
Note: You can also create a schedule for your reports by selecting Schedule Report corresponding to the report of your choice from the Reports tab.
Setting up your first scheduler
Any schedule you create must contain the following details:
Name: Enter a name for the schedule.
Report Type: Select Org Report to send reports to all admins or a select few admins in your organization. Select User Reports to send reports to all users or a select few users in your organization.
Select Reports: Select the list of reports you wish to receive regularly. Reports that are relevant to your report type will appear.
Send Reports: Select Weekly or Monthly based on your preference. Select the day of the week or the date of the month to specify when you'd like to receive these reports.
Password Protected: Enable password protection to protect reports sent as email attachments.
Click Create Schedule to activate the scheduler.
Note: If you enable password protection, recipients will be able to unlock the report using their unique default password for reports under Settings > Personalization. Alternatively, if they have yet to set a default password for Zoho Vault reports, they can unlock the reports using their Zoho User ID (Profile head > User ID).
Organizations can only create a maximum of 15 report schedules at the moment. If you need to create additional schedulers, please write to us.
