Restrict Recovery Key Generation

Administrators can turn off recovery keys generation for the entire organization if they would like.
  1. Click the Settings icon in the left sidebar.
  2. Click Fine-Grained Controls under Admin Configurations.
  3. Toggle on Recovery Key Generation in the Disable group.
Once restricted, users won't see the option to generate a recovery key, and recovery keys they generated earlier will stop working immediately.

Exempting users from the restriction 

  1. Click Manage Exemptions next to the Recovery Key toggle.
  2. Select the users or user groups to exempt.
  3. Save your changes.
Administrators can also exempt their own account directly from the Recovery Key Restricted screen. When an administrator restricts this feature, users will see the Recovery Key Restricted screen.
