Clear a Master Password

(Available in Standard, Professional, and Enterprise Editions)

Zoho Vault provides an option for super admins to void and reset users' master passwords.

Clearing a user's master password

  1. Log into your Zoho Vault account and select Settings.



  2. Click on the Users tab.



  3. Select the User whose master password needs to be cleared.



  4. Click on the More option.



  5. Select the option to Clear User Master Password.



  6. Select the Checkbox to share the data encrypted using the current master password.
  7. Click on Clear to clear the master password.



  8. The user’s master password has been voided and cleared.
