Integration with Google Workspace (Previously G Suite)
Several organizations from around the world use Google Workspace's (G Suite) applications for their daily business tasks, and to improve their overall productivity. If you own an account as well, you can now quickly import users from your Google Workspace user directory to Zoho Vault. This simplifies user onboarding, and allows users to access Zoho Vault with their existing Google Workspace credentials through single sign-on.
Prerequisites
- An active Google Workspace account with one of super admin, group admin, or user management admin privileges
- A Zoho Vault account with super admin privileges
Integrating G Suite with your Zoho Vault account
- Access Zoho Vault's signup page and click sign in using Google.
- Log in as a super admin using Google.
- Select Google apps, then click Admin.
- Click Google Apps, then select More From Google Workspace Marketplace Apps.
Note: Select More Controls, then access Apps if the Apps section is hidden. - Select Add app to domain install list, then search for Zoho Vault application from the Google Workspace marketplace.
- Click Continue to verify your installation.
- Select Accept to grant the necessary permissions to install Zoho Vault.
Importing users from Google Workspace
- Log in to Zoho Vault using your Google Workspace account
- Select Users under User Management from the Settings tab
- Select Import, then click Import from Google Apps
- Select the list of users to import, then click Import. The imported users will be notified through email to join your Zoho Vault account.
Importing user groups from Google Workspace
- Log in to Zoho Vault using your Google Workspace account
- Select User Group under User Management from the Settings tab
- Select Import, then click Import from Google Apps
- Select the list of groups to import from Google Workspace, then click Import. The user groups will be replicated in Zoho Vault. Users that are part of these group will be notified through email to join your Vault account.
Note: Zoho Vault does not support user import from multiple domains, sub-domains, or domain aliases in Google Workspace. Only users from the primary domain synced with Vault will be imported. The users can log in to Zoho with their Google Workspace credentials given in the primary domain.
