Transfer Password Ownership
You can transfer ownership of any password you own to users within your Zoho Vault organization. This feature will help you transfer passwords to a colleague whenever you move to a different team, or if you quit the organization. To transfer ownership:
- Select the passwords you wish to transfer from the Passwords tab.
- Click More, then select Transfer Ownership.
- Select a user, then click Transfer Password.
- Click OK to grant complete access of your passwords to the user.
All passwords will now be transferred to the selected user. The password owner loses access to all transferred passwords and folders and the new user will be the owner of the shared passwords moving forward.
Note: When you transfer passwords, only you lose access to them. If the passwords are shared with other team members, the sharing permissions and access for other users will remain intact. If you have large-sized attachments, transfer of password ownership can take a while.Need more help? Take a look at some of the commonly asked questions.
