Joining your Company's Zoho Vault Account

Zoho Vault only allows password sharing between members of the same organization. You'll have to join your company's official Zoho Vault account to share passwords with your colleagues. To join your organization's account:



  1. Check your inbox and spam folders for an invitation email from the Zoho Team (noreply@zohoaccounts.com), then click Join Organization
  2. Enter your first name and last name, then create a password for your account. 
  3. Click Join Organization.
  4. Create a master password for your account, then click Save and Proceed.
  5. Click Add Password to add passwords, notes, documents and other sensitive details. 





NotesNote: You can only share passwords with other users after an admin enables password sharing for your account. This is a one-time operation. Password sharing is automatically enabled for all new users whenever an admin logs in to their account. By default, all admins are notified by email to enable password sharing for users whenever they are added to Zoho Vault. To approve your users' password sharing requests when you're already logged in, access the Users section from the Settings tab, then click Approve under Sharing Status

Already using Zoho Vault with your organization's email address?

Zoho Vault only allows password sharing for the members of the same organization. If you're using Zoho Vault for personal use with your organization's email address, export all your passwords and delete the account to join your organization's official account. You can manage both personal and enterprise passwords from one single account. 



How do I delete my personal account?

Deleting an organization in Zoho Vault can lead to lost data from all Zoho applications connected to that organization. Take caution if there are other Zoho applications associated with this email address. 



  1. Access the control panel of Zoho Business, then click the Settings icon from the top-right corner. 
  2. Select Admin Panel from the drop-down, then click Delete Organization
  3. Click Continue.

Will I lose data?

You will lose data if you delete an organization linked with any of the following applications:



  • Zoho Business (Zoho Mail suite)
  • Zoho Connect
  • Zoho Creator 
  • Zoho Docs
  • Zoho Vault
  • SDP On-demand


There will be no data loss on any of the following applications:



  • Zoho Books
  • Zoho Campaigns
  • Zoho CRM
  • Zoho Desk 
  • Zoho Meeting 
  • Zoho People
  • Zoho Projects
  • Zoho Recruit
  • Zoho Report
  • Zoho Survey
