Save a passkey in the Zoho Vault web app

  1. Make sure you are signed in to the latest version of the Zoho Vault browser extension.
  2. Navigate to a website that supports passkeys, such as Google or Amazon.
  3. New users may be prompted to set up a passkey during account creation. Existing users can create a passkey by signing in and navigating to the account settings section. For step-by-step instructions, check the website's support documentation.
  4. Zoho Vault browser extension will automatically detect when you are setting up a passkey for a website and will prompt you to either create a new passkey or update an existing one. When prompted, select Create to store a new passkey or Update to modify the existing passkey.
  5. You can change the passkey name and add custom fields as needed and specify whether the passkey is for personal or business use. Once you've made your changes, click Save to apply them.
Notes
Passkeys can only be added by visiting the website of the relying party. They cannot be added through Zoho Vault.

Log in with a passkey saved in Zoho Vault web app

  1. Make sure you are signed in to the latest version of the Zoho Vault browser extension.
  2. Navigate to the website where you have a passkey saved in Zoho Vault.
  3. Enter your username or choose the account you want to log in with. If the website prompts you for a password, look for the option to select Sign in with passkey instead. For example, if Amazon asks you to enter your password, select Sign in with passkey.
  4. Zoho Vault will prompt you to confirm that you want to log in to the website. Select Confirm to access your account.

Share a passkey using Zoho Vault web app

  1. To share a passkey, click the Share icon next to the passkey in the Passkeys tab.
  2. To share multiple passkeys at once, select the desired passkeys, then click Share passkeys under the More actions menu.
  3. To revoke access to a shared passkey, go to the Passkeys tab and select the passkey you wish to revoke. Click the Share icon, then choose Revoke to remove access.

Delete a passkey  saved in Zoho Vault web app

If you wish to delete a passkey, select it and choose the Delete option.
Notes
When you delete a passkey linked to a password, it will be deleted permanently. However, if the passkey is not associated with a password, it will be moved to the trash.
