View Preferences Settings
View Preferences let Team Admins define how files and folders appear for the team, making navigation smoother while still allowing members to personalize their own workspace.

Only Team Admins can configure the Team's view preferences.
Set the default folder view for your team
As a Team Admin, you can set a default folder view for your entire team. This will apply to all team members unless they choose to customize it with their own preferences.
To set the default folder view:
Click the Admin Console in the bottom-left corner of your WorkDrive screen.
The Admin Console will open in a new tab, with Dashboard selected by default.
Click Settings from the left panel.
Select the View Preferences tab from the Settings panel.
Under Set a Default Folder View for your Team, choose one of the following options:
The selected view will be applied as the default for all team members. However, team members can still personalize their view for folders, if needed.
Set a Default Right Panel View for your Team
As a Team Admin, you can choose what the right panel should display by default when your team members preview files. This will apply to all team members unless they customize their own view.
To set the default right panel view:
Click the Admin Console in the bottom-left corner of your WorkDrive screen. The Admin Console will open in a new tab, with Dashboard selected by default.
Click Settings from the left panel.
Select the View Preferences tab from the Settings panel.
Under Set a Default Right Panel View for File Preview, choose one of the following options:
Only Preview
File Details
Comments
Data Template
The selected view will be applied as the default for all team members. However, team members can still personalize their view for file previews, if needed.
