Troubleshooting WorkDrive Desktop Sync application launch issue for Windows users

How to fix the launch issue in Windows

This error can be solved by rendering our application's UI with our software components. By default, WorkDrive Sync and TrueSync apps initiate automatically when you install them or start up your device. However, sometimes the application may not launch properly, or a crash message is shown while trying to open.

This could be because of the fact that the graphics driver installed in the user machine is either outdated or has an incompatibility with the application.

This error can be solved by rendering our application's UI with our software components. This can be done using the following steps:
  1. Press Windows+R to open the Run box.
  2. Type cmd, then click OK to open a regular Command Prompt.
  3. Type this command:  SETX QT_OPENGL software, click Enter, then close the command prompt.
  4. Try launching WorkDrive Sync or TrueSync once again.
If this does not work, try repeating the above steps using this command in the command prompt:  SETX QT_OPENGL angle
