Disconnect and Uninstall WorkDrive TrueSync

Follow the uninstallation steps below based on your OS. You’ll still be to access your WorkDrive files from the web app after uninstallation.

Disconnect TrueSync

When you no longer wish to sync your Zoho WorkDrive account with a Computer, you can disconnect that Computer. When you disconnect a computer, the files will be removed from the computer and will be accessible on WorkDrive web.

Click the WorkDrive TrueSync icon in the taskbar or system tray. The popup menu will open.
Click the Settings icon.
Select Preferences.
Select the Account tab. Click the Disconnect Computer
button.
Click Yes in the confirmation message.
Click the WorkDrive TrueSync icon in the taskbar or system tray again, then click the Settings icon .
Select Quit.

Uninstall TrueSync

For Windows

Go to Windows Settings on your computer.
Click Apps in the left pane and select Installed Apps.
Scroll and find Zoho WorkDrive TrueSync. The TrueSync window opens.
Click More Options (...) and select Uninstall. A confirmation box appears.
Select Uninstall in the confirmation box.

For Mac

Open Finder and go to Applications in your computer.
Right-click the Zoho WorkDrive TrueSync app and click Move to Trash.

Note:

In some cases, the complete application data of WorkDrive TrueSync will not have been cleared. To fully wipe that data from your Mac system:

Open the Terminal.
Type the following: sudo launchctl unload -wF “/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.zoho.truesync.upgrader.plist”
Press Enter. If prompted for a password, enter your system password and press Enter again.
Type sudo rm “/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.zoho.truesync.upgrader.plist” and press Enter. This will remove the plist file of WorkDrive TrueSync from your system.
Type sudo rm -r “/Library/Application Support/zohotruesync” and press Enter. This will remove the application data of WorkDrive TrueSynce from your system.

For Linux

Go to the folder where you extracted the WorkDrive TrueSync app files during installation.
In the extracted folder, open the terminal (without sudo) and run the command "./installer -UNINSTALL".

This will uninstall the TrueSync application from your computer.
