The Cache folder in WorkDrive TrueSync contains all your account’s cached data, which is the files and folders in the app. You may sometimes need to free up space on your primary (C:\) drive to install other programs. With WorkDrive TrueSync's move cache feature, it’s easy to move your WorkDrive files to a different drive on your machine safely so you can free up enough space to install applications on your primary drive.
Moving your downloaded cache files to another drive
Open the Zoho WorkDrive TrueSync application from the taskbar.
- Click the Settings icon.
- Click Preferences under Settings and select Account.
- Select the drive you want to move your cache folder into using the dropdown menu in the Cache Drive section.
- Click Apply.
- When prompted to confirm this action, click OK.
If you don’t have sufficient permission or storage, the data will not be moved. If this happens, TrueSync will show the following error messages:
If you try to move the cache folder to a drive you do not have access to:
Error with selected location
You do not have the required access permissions for this folder. Please select an accessible folder.
If you try to transfer the cache to a drive with low storage:
Error with selected location
This folder does not have enough free space.
The following error messages will be shown for common errors that may occur when moving data:
