Widgets on Zoho WorkDrive mobile

Widgets are extensions for mobile applications. With widgets, you can speed up your day-to-day processes on the Zoho WorkDrive app for Android and iOS!

Widgets on Android

To add and access widgets on your Android device:
  1. Long-tap the home screen background.

  2. Choose the Widgets option.



  3. Find the Zoho WorkDrive widget and place it on your home screen.



  4. Once added, you'll have the following options:

    1. Upload: Upon selecting this option, your File Manager will open. You can then navigate your folders and select which file or folder you wish to upload to your WorkDrive account.

    2. Camera: Upon selecting this option, your mobile’s camera opens and your image will be previewed. You can choose to upload the preview to your WorkDrive account.
         

    3. Notifications: Opens your Notifications menu.

    4. Search: Opens the app search bar and lets your quickly search your WorkDrive account.

    5. Open: Opens the Create New menu and lets you create or upload a new file or folder in your WorkDrive account.

Widgets on iOS

There are two ways to view widgets on iOS: the widgets menu when you swipe to the leftmost screen in your iPhone or iPad and the widgets you add to your home screen.

  1. Swipe right from your home screen to view your current widgets.

  2. Go down and select Edit.

  3. Select Customize.

  4. Add the Zoho WorkDrive widget.


Once added, you can view your recent files from that widget window and access them in the app quickly.


Home screen widgets
  1. Touch your home screen until the apps jiggle.

  2. In the top-right corner, click the (+) button and open the widget menu.

  3. Scroll down or search for the Zoho WorkDrive widgets collection.

  4. Choose from three widget options:

      

    1. Camera Roll: Open your camera roll and upload directly to your current WorkDrive account.

    2. Search: With this shortcut, a search window opens up which lets you search within Zoho WorkDrive.

    3. Recent Items: A multipurpose window that shows you the recently accessed files. Alongside that, it also has buttons to upload a file or a search for a file or folder within your WorkDrive account.
