Using Recents and Favorites for quick access
Recent Files
The Recents section shows a list of the files you've recently opened or edited in WorkDrive, regardless of where they’re stored. It helps you pick up where you left off, without needing to browse through multiple folders.
To view your recent files:
- Go to the Recents tab from the left pane in your WorkDrive.
You'll see a list of files you’ve worked on recently.

To go to the file’s folder location:
- From your Recents tab, select the desired file/folder.
Click the More actions icon (...) from the top horizontal bar. Alternatively, you can right-click to open the same menu. - From the list, select Go to Folder Location.
You’ll be redirected to the folder where the file is stored.

Favorites
You can mark important files and folders as favorites for quick access anytime.
To add files or folders to Favorites:
- Select the file or folder you want to add to your favorite list.
Click the More actions icon (...) from the top horizontal bar.Alternatively, you can right-click to open the same menu. - Choose Organize, then select Add to Favorites.
The selected item will be added to your Favorites list for quick access.

To access files and folders from Favorites:
- Click Favorites in the left panel of your WorkDrive.
You’ll see a list of all the files and folders you’ve marked as favorites. - To go to the original folder location, click the More actions icon (...) from the top horizontal bar. Alternatively, you can right-click to see these options.
- Choose Go to Folder Location from the list.
You’ll be taken to the folder where the file or folder is stored.
