Share to WorkDrive Support

Share files and folders with the WorkDrive support team to analyse, debug, or understand issues related to preview, formatting, and editing. (For other issues, please send an email to WorkDrive support)

WorkDrive support info:
  1. For EU region: support@eu.zohoworkdrive.com
  2. For all other regions: support@zohoworkdrive.com
Warning: Always ensure that you don't share any files containing sensitive information with the support team as they can view the files with actual content to resolve preview, formatting, and editing issues.

To share files or folders to WorkDrive Support:
  1. Select a file or folder from a Team Folder or My Folders.
  2. Click the More actions icon next to the Download button in the top actions bar.
  3. Select Share to Support from the dropdown. A Share to Support dialog box will open.
    Alternatively, you can right-click the file or folder and select Share to Support.

  4. In the comment field, describe your issue clearly with all the necessary details.
  5. Select an access level, View or Edit.
  6. Click SHARE.

Permissions for WorkDrive Support

Download and comment permissions are restricted for WorkDrive Support by default.
  1. File or Folder access will be automatically removed after 7 days. You can change or remove the WorkDrive support team's access anytime.

  2. Activity and access stats of WorkDrive support will be logged in each file or folder for auditing.

  3. Any member with share permission can share files and folders to WorkDrive Support.

  4. Sharing files or folders with WorkDrive Support will be considered as an external sharing. So, the external share settings should be enabled at team level and Team Folder level to share from My Folders and Team Folders, respectively.

  5. Sharing draft files to WorkDrive Support is not possible.

  6. This feature is not yet supported in mobile apps.

Share to Support option will be available for all WorkDrive plans, and bundles of Zoho One, Workplace, and Remotely.
