Sort and filter files and folders
Sort Files and Folders
You can sort files and folders to organize your view and locate content quickly.
To sort files:
- Go to any folder such as Team Folder or My Folders.
- Click the Sort by icon (↑↓) on the top menu bar.
- Choose a sort option from the dropdown:
- Name
- Last Modified
- Time Created - Once sorting is applied, the selected sort type will appear above the sorted file list, along with an up/down arrow (e.g., Name ↑). Click that button to toggle between ascending and descending order. The list will update instantly based on your sort preference.
You can also select a sub-folder inside a Team Folder or My Folders and sort their files and folders.
Note: Sorting affects only your view. Other collaborators will continue to see their own preferred sorting.
Filter Files
Filters help narrow down your view by showing only files of a specific type as preferred.
To filter files:
- Open the Folder or Team Folder where you want to apply filters.
- Click the Filter icon on the top menu bar.
- Use one or more of the available filter categories:
- Folders
- My Drafts (available only on Team Folders)
- Documents
- Spreadsheets
- Presentations
- Images
- Audio
- Video
- Links
The file list will update based on your selections.
