Generate transcripts for audio and video files

You can easily convert your audio and video files into text, making it easier to read, search, and reference key information without replaying the entire file. With this transcription option, you can quickly find specific moments, capture important insights, and improve accessibility across your content.

How to generate transcripts:
  1. Open the desired file in the preview mode. 
  2. Click the Transcript icon in the right-panel.
    Alternatively, you can right-click the file and select the Transcript menu from the shown list.
  3. Click Generate Transcript. 
    This might take some time depending on the file's duration. You may close the window. You'll receive a bell notification when the transcript is ready.



  4. Once the transcript is ready, click on a timestamp to go to that particular part in the file.
Notes
  1. Any user with View access to an audio or video file can generate transcripts.
  2. Currently, external users cannot view and generate transcripts.

  1. Supported language: English
  2. Maximum file size supported: 1000 MB
  3. Maximum file duration supported: 5 hours
  4. Supported video formats: mp4, mpeg, mpg, mov, avi, flv, webm, wmv, swf, mkv 
  5. Supported audio formats: wav, flac, mp3, opus, m4a
