Translate comments using Zia AI
Zia AI makes it simple to translate comments, breaking down language barriers and enabling clear communication in your preferred language. Whether you're translating others’ comments or your own, Zia helps you collaborate seamlessly across global teams.
Note: Zia AI currently supports translations in 74 languages.
Important:
To enable AI-powered capabilities in WorkDrive, the team admin or super admin must activate Zia AI and set up the appropriate AI service at the team level. Learn how to activate Zia AI in WorkDrive

Supported AI services in WorkDrive
- Zoho AI, our in-house AI service (Powered by open-source large language models)
- Can be enabled directly without requiring an additional key.
- OpenAI
- You must bring your own key (OpenAI secret key) to enable this integration.
- Before setting up the integration, it's important to review OpenAI's privacy policies.
- The number of generations, summaries, and suggestions available depends on your OpenAI subscription plan.
- If Open AI has already been configured for your team via another Zoho app (Writer, Sheet, or Show), we'll automatically detect it and allow you to use that integration within the WorkDrive platform.
Translate the user comments
Translate others’ comments to your preferred language for a better understanding of the conversation.
- Hover over the comment you want to translate.
- Click the More actions (...) icon.
- Select Translate to > (Preferred language) from the dropdown menu.
Zia will process your request and translate the comment into the selected language.
Once the comment is translated, a Show original button will appear below it.

Translate your own comment
Translate your own comments into another language before posting to ensure effective communication with a multilingual audience.
- Enter your comments in the comment field. This will enable the Zia AI Comment Suggestion feature.
- Click AI suggestion at the bottom of the comment field. This will open a dropdown menu.
- Choose Translate to > (Preferred language).
Zia will analyze your request and automatically translate your comment into the selected language.
