As an agent, having a great relationship with your clients is critical for organizational success. It's equally important to cut down lengthy email conversations and to ensure smooth collaboration.
In Zoho Workerly's client portal, your clients can monitor the shifts of temps, create their timesheets, and even approve or reject them. Past timesheets shared with the client can also be viewed in the portal instead of searching through thousands of emails in the inbox. This helps bridge those communication gaps between you and your clients, building a strong partnership as a result.
Enabling the Client Portal
- Navigate to Setup > Portal Setup > Client Portal and turn on the button.
- You can customize the client invitation email that'll be sent out to your clients when inviting them to your portal.
Go to the client's record you want to invite. Click Invite Contact. Once you invite the contact, the status changes to Invited (If the contact's access is disabled, the status changes to Inactive) and once the portal has been set up, the status changes to Active.
If there are multiple contacts for a client, you can go to the Clients module and click Manage Client Portal Invite. You can enable or disable the access to the client portal to the list of contacts.
For Clients:
Once the portal has been set up, the contact would have access to two modules—Shifts and Timesheets; the profile on the top right can be edited.
Note that only the Name and the Time format can be edited. The Time Zone mentioned will be the time zone that the Agent's org. has selected.
In the Shifts module, the client's contact will be able to view all the shifts shared with them. All records in this module will be Read-only fields.
The client's contact will however be able to create a timesheet on the temps' behalf. To do this, the client's contact has to go to Timesheets > click the + icon.
All the necessary details can be added. This timesheet (created on behalf of the temp) can now be Approved or Rejected by the client's contact. Earlier, the client's contact had to rely on emails to approve timesheets. Zoho Workerly's Client Portal just brought everything in one place.
Using the Client Portal, the gap in communication between the Agent, Temp, and the Clients is greatly reduced ensuring seamless conveyance of shifts and timesheets.
