How to setup subform table in fillable template
Overview
Subform table in Zoho Writer allow responders to dynamically add repeatable rows within a form. This is ideal when collecting variable-length data such as work experience, education history, or itemized expenses—without cluttering the form layout.
For example, in a job application form, a subform can be used for the education section, allowing applicants to add entries as required.
Steps
- In the Fillable Template, go to the Automate Tab.
- Click Subform Table under Fields & Buttons.
3. In the Field Properties tab, you can configure
- Label: Add a unique name to identify the subform field.
- Maximum allowed rows: The number of subform rows the users can add when filling the form.
- Map Subform Data Source: If you wish to, you can prefill the subform fields with values from your connected data source.
4. Publish the form to check the respondent view.On the Respondent View or Fill Mode, subform allows respondent to add or delete rows.
