How to combine several PDFs with a merged PDF file
Overview
Zoho Writer's merge templates allow you to combine the generated PDFs into a single PDF. You can either combine the generated PDFs into one or combine the generated PDF with a static PDF. You can do this using custom functions or the advanced automation flow designer. This lets you send one combined file instead of multiple files to your clients or vendors.
Prerequisites
- The generated document should be saved as a PDF.
Steps
Using custom functions
- Open your merge template and choose Merge & invoke custom function as the output option.
- Create a custom function in Deluge to combine the merged documents and click Save & Link function.
Using automation flow designer
Open your merge template and choose Set up Advanced Merge as the output option.
Setup your document workflow and choose the Combine PDF card to merge the generated PDFs into one or combine the generated PDF with an existing PDF and choose the rest of your workflow.

Notes
- You can combine a maximum of five PDFs into a single PDF.
- You can generate a PDF up to 25 MB.
