How to display charts in generated documents using Writer's merge templates

Overview

Zoho Writer lets you insert dynamic charts into merge templates, so that when you generate personalized documents (via Mail Merge), each document can display data-driven visualizations instead of just plain text. Common chart types such as column, bar, pie, doughnut, and line charts are available.

Steps

How to add chart field

Click Chart under Advanced Merge Fields.
Choose your desired chart type and add the appropriate merge fields under category.

How to setup chart properties

Click on the inserted chart field in the document and setup the chart's properties.
