How to create charts with merge field data during merge

Overview

Zoho Writer lets you insert dynamic charts into merge templates, so that when you generate personalized documents (via Mail Merge), each document can display data-driven visualizations instead of just plain text. Common chart types such as column, bar, pie, doughnut, and line charts are available.

Steps

Creating Charts from merge fields in now possible in Writer.

Step 1 : Go to Form or Subform tab and choose Chart as shown

Step 2: Choose the Chart type and Fields containing data to populate charts and Click Insert.

Step 3: On Merge, data will be merged as Chart in the document as shown

Step 4 : Setup Chart Properties

Click on Chart Field in the document to setup the Chart Properties as shown
