How to setup image type merge field in Zoho Writer
Overview
The image field in Zoho Writer's merge templates lets you dynamically insert images (like profile photos, product images, logos, or scanned documents) into templates during a mail merge. You can map image fields from your data source, such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Sheets, or a CSV file, and the corresponding images will be placed automatically in the final merged documents.

- Click on the image field> Image Field Options.
How to set image properties

Dimensions: Specify the width and height of the image

Image Border: Border thickness, color, and type

Wrap Type :

| Inline | The image is treated like a text character. It moves with the text. |
| Square | Text wraps around all four sides of the image in a square shape. |
| Behind Text | The image sits behind the text—great for watermarks or background images. |
| In Front of Text | The image floats above the text and may obscure it. |
How to set image's fit
Controls how the image fills the allocated space.

Fit to Frame: The image scales to fit within the placeholder while maintaining its aspect ratio.

Fill Frame: The image fills the entire frame and may crop if the aspect ratio differs.

Stretch to Fill: The image stretches to fill the placeholder exactly, which may distort the image.
Troubleshooting
Problem: My image merge field appears stretched and doesn't retain the correct size in the merged document.
Solution: Click on the image merge field, under Choose Image Fit > Fit image to the frame.

Problem: I have connected Zoho CRM as a data source and an image field is present in my CRM's module but the field is not listed in Writer's merge template.
