Wordpress Org
Compose and post directly from Zoho Writer to your self-hosted WordPress site with the WordPress extension. Once you have your API key, select your WordPress site within Zoho Flow and proceed to post to your WordPress site from inside Zoho Writer.
Steps to integrate WordPress.org with Zoho Writer:
Install the Zoho Flow plugin in your WordPress.org account.
Install the WordPress.org extension in Zoho Writer and complete the authentication process.
Install the Zoho Flow plugin in your WordPress.org account:
1. Open the WordPress setup and navigate to the Plugins section.
2. Click on Add New in the Plugins menu.
3. Search for Zoho Flow and click Zoho Flow plugin to initiate the installation.
Installing the WordPress.org extension in Zoho Writer and completing the authentication:
1. Install the WordPress.org extension from Zoho Marketplace in Zoho Writer. (By default, it'll be pre-installed for all Zoho Writer users)
2. Authenticate the extension with your base URL and API key.
You can authenticate only one WordPress site at a time
3. To generate the base URL and API key, click Zoho Flow in your WordPress site and choose WordPress.org. This key is crucial for secure communication between Zoho Writer and your WordPress site.
Posting content from Zoho Writer:
Open the WordPress.org extension from the right pane of your document in Zoho Writer.
Add important metadata to your blog posts, such as title, description, and tags, and choose from a list of categories.
Click Publish to publish the content.
When posting content from Zoho Writer, SEO-friendly image names will help increase visibility in search engines.Updating blog content from Zoho Writer:
- Click View Published History in the WordPress.org extension in your Writer document.
- Choose the document version you want to update the content to from the list of options displayed and click Republish Current Version.
Choosing themes in WordPress:
Customize your WordPress.org theme with the following steps:
1. Click Appearance > Editor in the left pane of your WordPress blog.
2. Click Styles from the list of options.
3. Choose your desired theme and click the edit option present in the top-left corner.
4. Choose your desired Typography, Colors, and Layout.
5. Choose your desired font, font size, and other options and click Save.
