Response Settings

You can tailor how Cohere generates responses by adjusting the following settings:
  1. Model: Choose the Cohere model that best fits your use case (e.g., command-r, command-r+). Each model offers a different balance of speed, quality, and reasoning.
  2. Max Tokens: Set the maximum number of tokens in the output. This helps you control the length of responses and manage costs or response time.
  3. Temperature: Adjust the temperature to fine-tune the creativity and variability in the responses.
    1. Lower values (e.g., 0.2) produce more precise, predictable outputs.
    2. Higher values (e.g., 0.8) generate more expressive, creative language.
