Zoho Sites extension to post to blog from Zoho Writer

Overview

Post to your sites from Writer. Make sure you have installed and authorized the Zoho Sites Extension from Marketplace. If not, follow these steps to do so.

Prerequisites

  1. You need to have a published site in Zoho Sites.
  2. You have to enable Blog on Zoho Sites before posting the blog and publishing the site with the blog post.

Steps

How to post blog posts to Zoho Sites

  1. Click Zoho Sites under Extensions from the right panel.


  2. Select any site from the list.
  3. Assign a title to your post, pick a category and add relevant tags.
  4. Optionally, you can give a summary and a URL.
  5. You can publish your post straight away, save a draft and publish later, schedule posts, delete scheduled posts, and reschedule them as required to publish from Zoho Sites.

How to create a site

  1. Go to https://sites.zoho.com/index
  2. Name your website and select a category.
  3. Choose a template and customize it. Click Finish.
  4. Your sites will be created.

How to publish a site

  1. Click the site you want to publish.
  2. Click Publish in the top right corner.
  3. Enter the domain and click Publish.
  4. Your site has been successfully published. Click the domain to view the site.

How to enable blogs for a site

  1. Go to your site's dashboard.
  2. Click the Settings gear icon in the top left corner.
  3. Click the Blog tab.
  4. Click the Create Blog button.
  5. Enter a title and content for your blog post.
  6. Click the Publish button.
Once you have created and published a blog post, blogs will be enabled for your site.

  2. Your post shall not exceed Zoho Sites's character limit of 100,000,000 characters.
