To create a connection, follow the steps below within your Writer document:

1. Navigate to Deluge Editor from your document. Here's a screen recording that shows how to open the deluge editor from a merge template. 
   
   

   
   
   

   Please note that the deluge editor can be accessed from all three automation templates in Zoho Writer- fillable, merge and sign templates.

2. Now, click on Connections at the top right of the page.
   
   
   
   
   

3. Then, click on Go to Connections and click on Create Connection.

To create a connection in the default services:

1. Go to the Default Services tab under "Services" on the left panel.

2. Select the respective service name and click Create Connection.
   
   
   
   
   

3. Provide the following information under connection details:

1. Connection Name: Display name of your connection.
   
   

2. Connection Link Name: Link names must be unique and can be used in Deluge integration tasks and invoke URL scripts to establish authentication.The link name that you provide must satisfy the following conditions:

1. It must begin with a lowercase letter.

2. It can contain lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores (_).

3. It can contain up to 50 characters.
   
   

3. Scope (applicable only to OAuth 2 auth type): Scopes required to perform integration as specified in the desired service's API documentation. 
   
   

4. After filling in the field values, click on Create and Connect.

5. A summary of the created connection will be displayed.

6. Upon successful authorization, the connection will be created and listed on your connections page under "My Connections".
