How to change the default date settings in Writer?

Step 1 : Click on the gear icon "Settings" on the top right-corner of the editor page.

Step 2 : In the dropdown list, click on the "Language & Region" option.

Step 3 : In the setting POP-UP, click on the "Date Format" field and chose the desired date format.

Step 4 : Click on the "Save" button to save the changes.
