How to insert an image at a specific point in the document?
Overview
If you want precise control over where an image appears in your Zoho Writer document—for instance, placing a logo at an exact coordinate or overlaying visuals in a design layout—you can do so using the custom positioning feature. By placing the image “in front of text” and applying absolute alignment settings, you can anchor an image exactly where it should be, independent of surrounding content.
Steps
To insert an image at a specific point in a document, do the following:
1. Insert the Image in the document.
2. Click on the image and from Image settings set the Wrap type to be ‘in-front of text’.
3. Click on Custom and select Edit.
4. Edit the Alignment as follows
Horizontal Position
From: Left Margin
Align To: Specific
Position: Absolute
From Left: Specify the distance from margin
Vertical Position
From: Top Margin
Align To: Specific
Position: Absolute
From Left: Specify the distance from margin
5. Final output will be as shown below.
