How to Apply Multi-Column Layout to a Document?
Overview
A multi-column layout lets you split your text into two or more columns, similar to a newspaper or magazine style. In Zoho Writer, you can format entire documents, specific sections, or selected text into multiple columns. You can also adjust column spacing, add dividers, and balance content for a professional look.
Steps
If you want columns for the entire document, just place the cursor without selecting text.
- Click Format > More Format Options...
- Choose Page Setup
- Choose your desired column number (One, Two, or Three) under Columns
- For custom layouts, choose More Columns… to specify:
- Number of columns
- Width of each column
- Spacing between columns
- Apply the columns, the text flows automatically into them.
