How to auto-fit a large table in Writer

Overview

When your tables extend beyond the page margins or get partially cut off in Zoho Writer, the built-in Auto-Fit feature helps by automatically resizing the table to neatly fit the document’s frame—ensuring a polished, hassle-free layout.

Steps

1. Right click on the table > More Options > AutoFit to page 


Additional Notes

If AutoFit to Page doesn’t give the desired result for a wide table, you can place it on a landscape page for better visibility.
Steps:
  1. Place your cursor inside the section that contains the large table.
  1. Go to Page Setup → Orientation → Landscape.
  1. The selected section will now switch to landscape mode, allowing the entire table to fit neatly on the page.
