What is Zia Skills?
Zia Skills is an AI driven platform that offers Natural Language Understanding (NLU) as a service, to build and train conversational AI assistants for your business applications, that can converse through voice or text.- What is Natural Language Understanding?Natural Language Understanding is the ability of a software system, typically of a chat bot or a conversational assistant, to understand humanly spoken and written conversations and comprehend what the human interacting with it is conveying. Technically, it converts a natural sentence in a human language (an unstructured data) into an actionable intent and entities (structured data).
- What are the languages supported by Zia Skills?For now, Zia Skills supports only the English language.
- How does a bot built on Zia Skills work?When a bot receives the user's input message, Zia would try to understand the message and check if it matches with any of the configured abilities of the bot. If the input message matches with a configured ability of the bot, it would prompt for the data that are configured as required to fulfill that ability, as an input, in a conversational way. Once all the required data are got as input, Zia would execute the business logic defined for the ability.
- What does configuring the ability of a Zia bot mean?Configuring an ability of a Zia bot means, defining the sample invocations, required input data and the business logic of the ability.
- What is the use of bots built on Zia Skills?Bots built on Zia Skills can serve as the first point of contact when someone visits your website or mobile application. The users can converse with the bot directly at any time, and it would reply to their queries instantly with proper information as programmed. Thus bots can improve customer experiences, engage the users with offered services, avoid the problems caused by human errors, and deliver great customer experience and engagement.
- Is my data safe with Zia Skills?Yes, Zia Skills is a part of the Zoho suite, which is trusted by over 45 million users. We have a strong privacy policy and security infrastructure.
- Do I need any servers to host and use the bots built in Zia Skills?Zia Skills lets you build the business logic for your bots on Deluge, Zoho's serverless cloud scripting environment. So all your development, testing and deployment can be done on Zoho's cloud infrastructure. However, if you wish to host your business logic in your server, you can very well connect your Zia bot to a Webhook URL of your server.
