Artificial Intelligence (AI) has helped our workforce evolve in a way that's making businesses function seamlessly. Repetitive tasks have been taken over by AI, and decision-making has become stronger based on the learnings obtained from huge volumes of data.
OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company whose mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. In the past few years, they've been developing a technology that has the capacity to help humans and machines co-exist. You can teach the AI a whole lot of things, and then it can predict what happens next.
Zoho's AI-powered assistant, Zia, has recently added generative AI capabilities via OpenAI. This means Zia can now perform tasks like content creation, image suggestions, ticket answering, and much more. You can use Zia as your brainstorming partner and integrate her into your everyday business activities.
Zia's integration with OpenAI is currently available for a handful of apps in Zoho's suite of business products. These applications are used in various domains like Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Email & Collaboration, and Security & IT Management.
Zia's integration with OpenAI is available on the following Zoho products: CRM, SalesIQ, Social, Mail, LandingPage, Desk, Cliq, Notebook, Assist, Meeting, DataPrep, Analytics, and Site24x7.
Capabilities of Zia's integration with OpenAI
- Create different forms of content like images and text
- Identify the tone and sentiment involved in the content
- Rephrase and simplify content
- Improvise and rephrase emails and draft email templates
How to access Zia's OpenAI capabilities
We're currently supporting a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model for you to access Zia's Integration with OpenAI. This approach can provide users with more control over their data. If you have an OpenAI account, you can generate your own secret key on the OpenAI platform. You can use this key within your Zoho account to gain access to this integration in individual products.
Zia is still scaling and trying to do better things for you by the day so that people can work together harmoniously in a business setup.
Data sharing and privacy
The
OpenAI platform may collect some of your data from interactions to improve its functionality and user experience. The type of data that's collected depends on the service or platform you're using and will abide by
Open AI's Terms of Use. The user's consent is received through a form before any of this data is shared to the platform.
The data collected through the API won't be used by the OpenAI platform to train the AI models. If you wish to share your data for training purposes explicitly, you can
opt-in for it. OpenAI will only use the data you share to improve the suggestions and input provided to you individually, and won't use it to improve the overall performance of the AI. These
data sharing policies will be followed for all the products throughout Zoho.
The BYOK (Bring your own key) model also provides users with the advantage of bringing their own keys rather than relying on the service provider's keys. This provides users with more control over their data. You know your data is secure and have full transparency about this. Privacy protection is an integral part of Zoho's mission, so we strive to strike a balance between user privacy, autonomy, and the generative AI's capabilities by following
Zoho's privacy notice.
