API Tracking in Zoho Apptics
Overview
API tracking provides insights into how many APIs are being used, what is the success/failure rates of each API, and the average duration of the API. You can view the stats for APIs based on attributes such as brand, platform, bundle id, app version, OS version, device type, device model, country, and response code.
To enable API tracking, you need to add your APIs in the Apptics console.
- Navigate to Engagement > APIs.
Adding APIs to the Console
- Click Configure API to add the APIs that you want to track.
- Add the details like the API display name, type, and URL to complete your configuration. You can select any of the different types while configuring the APIs namely - Simple Match, Single with Param, and Regex Match.
- Simple match type: The URL will be matched with the incoming URL, without any parameters.
- Single with Param: One param along with the URL will be matched with the incoming URL.
- Regex Match: The URL of the regular expression will be matched with the incoming URL.
- Click Save and the configured API will be listed in the APIs list.
- You can edit the API display name by clicking on the edit icon.
Note: API tracking will be enabled only for the APIs that you configure in the Apptics console. You can copy individual API ids by clicking on the copy icon and bookmark important APIs by clicking on the favorite icon for quick reference.
