Overview
The Projects settings page is where you can change project-level settings – allowing you to handle your project the way you want to. You can change the general project-related information, manage project members and application IDs, set up email notifications for project-level updates, and configure third-party integrations from here.
- Navigate to Project settings > All in the left menu.
Note: Some actions in the project setting module are role-based, and can be performed only by the members with the necessary permissions.
Project info
You can edit basic details such as the project name, logo, and team name or delete the project from here.
Note: Editing project details and deleting the project are role-based actions and can be done only by the project manager, portal admin, or super admin.
Application IDs
You can get the list of all the application IDs added across platforms for your project from here. You can also add new application IDs, download configuration files for each application ID, and enable/disable existing application IDs.
Note: You can download the config files for any existing projects by clicking Info for the individual ID. The same config file is available on the Quick Start page as well.
Email notifications
You can set the mail notification preferences for you and your project members.
- My email notifications - As an individual user, you can set the mail notification preferences that decide what type of project notifications you want to receive for yourself.
- Group email notifications - If you are the project manager, you can also select what type of project notifications you want your project members to receive as a group.
Note: These are user-level email notifications and do not apply to the entire project.
Third-party integrations
Apptics offers integrations with Zoho and other third-party services to help you manage your app more efficiently. Only the project manager, developer leads, and developers have the privilege to enable/disable the integrations.
- Zoho Desk - Integrate with Zoho Desk to streamline your customer support. Any in-app feedback or store reviews you receive from your app are added in the Zoho Desk portal as a support ticket once you enable the integration. Your customer support team can then handle the support tickets from the Desk portal itself.
- Zoho Projects - Integrate with Zoho Projects to manage your day-to-day tasks effectively. Project integration helps you to assign any crashes, non-fatal errors, and feedback as bugs to the right people in your team and track their progress in Zoho Project.
- Zoho Cliq - Integrate with Zoho Cliq to enable seamless collaboration with your team members. You can get instantly notified of any reported crashes, non-fatal errors, in-app feedback, and store reviews you receive for your app in the dedicated Cliq channels.
- Zoho CRM - Integrate Zoho CRM to analyze in-app data from Apptics along with the user data available in your Zoho CRM dashboard.
- Slack - Integrate with Slack to enable seamless collaboration with your team members. You can get instantly notified of any reported crashes, non-fatal errors, in-app feedback, and store reviews you receive for your app in the dedicated Slack channels.
- Zendesk - Integrate with Zendesk to streamline your customer support. Any in-app feedback or store reviews you receive from your app are added in the Zendesk portal as a support ticket once you enable the integration. Your customer support team can then handle the support tickets from the Zendesk portal itself.
Note: The integrations will work only if you already have a subscription to the above services.
Project Members
You can view all the portal members who are a part of the project and their roles within the project. You can add and remove project members across roles from here. We recommend you always keep your project members and their roles updated.
Note: You can add members to your project only if they are already a part of the portal. Only existing portal members will be listed when clicking the + icon top add members to a role. If the user you are trying to add in your project is not a portal member, please contact your portal admin or super admin to add the invite the user to your portal.
