Managing custom emojis & stickers in Cliq

Brighten up your workspace by customising your own emojis and stickers. Follow the below steps to add your own customised emojis and stickers in Cliq and manage them.
  1. Navigate to Admin Panel -> Customization -> Emojis & Stickers
  2. Click on Add Emoji / Add Sticker

  1. Upload your emojis by clicking on the add pictures icon


  1. Enter your emojis/stickers name
  2. Click on Add more emoji /sticker's to add more emojis/stickers
  3. Click on ADD EMOJI /ADD STICKER
Note: Once you add your emojis/stickers, you will be able to view a preview in the very tab.
  1. We recommend you to use images that are 24x24 pixels.
  2. You can copy and paste images (Max file size of 2 MB).
  3. Supported formats are PNG, JPEG, GIF, and WebP.
  4. Add various stickers at once by dragging and dropping multiple image files.
  5. Stickers image size supported upto 5mb.

You can perform the following action on the emojis/stickers you have created:
  1. Sort
    Once you have added an emoji/sticker, you can further sort and view them under the following categorisation:
    1. Frequently used
    2. Rarely used
    3. Alphabetical order
  1. Add emoji/sticker
    Add emoji/sticker by clicking on the Add Emoji/Add Stickers button
  1. Edit
    Click on the edit icon to rename or to add an alias for the emoji (Only 3 alias is supported for each emoji/sticker and it should be added with comma separation)
  1. Publish
    Once you have added your emojis/stickers, they will be made available for everyone in the organization under the Custom emojis tab in the emoji picker. You can choose to disable it for your org members by clicking on the eye icon
  1. Delete
    Click on the delete icon to delete the emoji

 Disable organization members from creating emojis and stickers

  1. Navigate to Admin Panel -> Organization -> Configurations
  2. Scroll down to Emoticons under the conversation section. Disable Custom emojis and Custom stickers

  1. Once you have disabled it, the Emojis & Stickers section in your profile and settings tab will be removed for the users in your organization.

Enabling role-based permission for emojis/stickers

  1. Navigate to Admin Panel -> Permissions -> Roles
  2. Click on Permissions


  1. Provide preferable permissions for role-based access to use, create, delete and publish emojis/stickers



  1. Click on Save
All the emojis/stickers created by the member of your organization are by default private. However, the members of the org can publish their custom emojis and stickers. 

Unpublishing an emoji published by an organization member

  1. To unpublish an emoji published by your organization member, navigate to Admin Panel -> Customization -> Emojis & Stickers
  2. Click on the eye icon to unpublish the emojis/stickers
