User Fields in Cliq

A user's profile is the face of the user in Cliq organization. The profile contains all info about a user right from their department, designation to their seating location.  Cliq offers 15 default profile fields that admins can use to enrich their users' profile view for easy collaboration. Apart from the 15 default fields, Cliq allows up to 10 custom user fields to customize your users' profiles further.      
Note:  Default user fields offered in Cliq cannot be removed from the user field section

Creating custom User Fields in Cliq   

  • To create customize user fields, navigate to Cliq Admin Panel

  • Select User Fields under Customization

  • To add a new field either click on the Add Field button or drag and drop the user field options available

  • Enter field name

  • Choose a field type by clicking on the drop down

  • You can also choose to mark the fields as follows:

    ➤   Mark field as mandatory

    ➤   Allow users to edit

    ➤   Mark as PII field

  • Click Add

 

 Note : All PII fields are encrypted in Cliq (PII: Personally Identifiable Information data are information information that can be used by organizations on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context.) Marking the field as PII in Cliq is a one-time process that isn't reversible. 

Actions available   
  • Editing a user field   

  • Disable a custom field

  • Delete a custom field  

 

 

Editing a user field

  • Click on the Edit button

  • Make the required changes

  • Click on Save  

Disable a custom field

 

To disable a custom field, click on the eye button.

 

Deleting a custom field

 

Click on the delete button to delete the custom field. Once a custom field is deleted, all user data fed under the field will be lost and is not recoverable.

View layout

 

Clicking on the View layout will show you how the layout of the user profile looks like in Web, IOS and Android applications.

 

The layout is available in the following views

  1. Quick info
  2. Profile layout

  


Edit layout

  • To edit the layout, click on View layout -> Edit

  • Add or delete required sections

  • Click on Save
