How to transfer the ownership of an organization in Cliq?

The one who created an account in Cliq by default becomes the primary owner of that organization. The primary owner of an organization can transfer ownership to another member following the below steps:

Note:

You will be able view the Change owner button only if you are the owner of the organization. Admins of the organization will not be able to view it.

 

  • In the admin panel, under the Organization module click on Company Info. 

  • Click on Change owner below the organization name to open a pop up screen.

  • In the pop up, search and select the individual you want to transfer your ownership to.

  • On selecting Change, you will be redirected to accounts.zoho.com page for password authentication to complete the action. 

Note:

  1. You will be able to transfer ownership within 90 seconds from the time of previous password authentication.
  2. On transferring your ownership to a non-admin, they will automatically be assigned as an admin.
  3. Actions that are solely managed by the organization's owner i.e. actions the admin does not have control over: Managing subscriptions, Deleting the Cliq organization and Assigning a new owner.
