How to bulk import users into teams in your organization
You can bulk import users into teams within your organization by following these steps:
Navigate to the Admin Panel and select Users & Profiles.
Go to Teams,then select the Import Teams button in the top-right corner.
Drag and drop your CSV file containing the team data. The CSV file should include fields in the following format: Name, Email, and Team.
Once uploaded, the data will be validated and classified into "Invalid Entries" and "Users Ready for Import".
You can manually edit or delete any invalid entries on an individual user level,then click Update.
After resolving any issues, click Proceed to start the import process.
You’ll receive a notification from Taz once the users have been successfully imported.
You can access your import history to view the following details, such as file name, imported by, date, size and status of the import.
Upon clicking on an import listing, you will be able to view and download the details of the imported users and failed users.
The imported users file will give you the list of the users imported along with details such as Name, Email, Date, and Team. The failed users file will give you the list of users who had some invalid entries and would not be imported. The file also provides the reason for each invalid entry.
Note:
Below are the types of errors that might occur while bulk importing users:
Email ID error: The email address serves as the primary identifier. If there's an issue with the email ID, the import process will not be completed.
Team not found: If the specified team doesn't exist, users can either create a new team or remove and update the record with an existing team.
