Chatlist filters in Cliq mobile

You can now filter chats in Cliq mobile using pinned folders and pinned chats. Easily edit, organize, and manage your pins to keep important conversations within quick reach.

What are the various Chatlists?

All

You can list out all the chats that you had, with the most recent chats on the top.

Filters

You can filter your chats to display a specific set of chats. This will reduce the clutter and organize your mobile workspace.

Note: DMs will be filtered and displayed by default.

i. DMs: Select DMs to filter all the direct messages in one place.

ii. Threads: Display all the threads in one place by filtering them.

iii. Channels: List out all the channels in one place by filtering them.

iv. Groups: Groups can be filtered and listed out separately.

v. Muted: You can filter all the muted DMs, channels, threads and groups and list them out in one place.

My Pins

Your pinned conversations will be listed out here.

Click any pin in My Folders to jump directly to the selected pin.

How to add chats to My Pins?

Long press on My Pins.
Click on Add chats.

Select the chats that you want to add from the most recent chats, or search for a specific chat using the search bar.
Click on the ✔ icon.

You can now choose the pin folder where you want to add these chats.

Here, the chats are added to My Pins (Default).

You can also add chats to specific pins.
Long press the pinned folder you want to add the chat to and click Add chat.

Now, select the chat that you want to add to the pinned folder.
Click on the ✔ icon to add the chat to the selected pinned folder.

The chat will now be pinned to the folder.

How to create a new folder?

Long press My Pins or any of your pinned folders and select Manage folders.

Click Create new folder.

Note: You can reorder your folders by clicking and dragging on the grip icon in the Manage folders window.

Select the chats you want to add to the new pinned folder and click on the ✔ icon.

Name your pinned folder.

The pinned folder is now created.

You can also create a folder by clicking on the Edit icon.

Click Add to select chats to pin to the folder.

You can select the chat(s) you want to pin.

You can pin the chat to any of the folders or create a new folder and then pin the selected chats.

How do I edit the pinned folders?

Long press on the folder and then tap on Edit folder.

You will have various options in the Edit folder window.

i. Select:

Click on the select icon.

You can now select chat(s) in the folder and either Move them to a different folder or Unpin them.

ii. Rename:

Click on the pencil icon.

Rename the folder and click Save.

iii. Delete:

Click on the Delete icon to delete the folder along with all the pinned chats.

iv. Unpin and Reorder:

You can unpin specific chats from the folder by clicking on the Unpin icon.

You can reorder the pins by clicking and dragging the grip icon.

v. Add:

Click on the + icon.

Select the chat(s) that you want to pin to the folder.

The chat will get pinned in the folder.

Edit pins option

You can also edit and manage all the pins and folders from the Edit pins option.

You can add chats to specific folders here, as mentioned before.
You can reorder the pinned chats by dragging them using the grip icon.

You can unpin a specific chat by clicking on the unpin icon.

You can also delete entire pinned folders by clicking on the delete icon.

Info:

You can filter out the unread chats by pressing on the Chat icon.

Only the unread chats will be displayed now.
