In Zoho Cliq, hashtags are a powerful feature that helps users categorize and quickly search for specific topics within conversations and channels. By adding hashtags to messages, users can label them based on topics, projects, or statuses (e.g., #ProjectX, #Urgent, #MeetingNotes). This makes it easier to filter conversations, allowing users to view all messages associated with a particular hashtag in one place.
Go to Admin Panel > Organization > Configurations.
Under Conversations, enable the Hashtags option.
You can create custom hashtags directly in the text composer. Here's how:
Type # in the message composer, and a list of the most popular hashtags will appear.
Choose one from the list or type a new hashtag, then press Enter.
Clicking on any hashtag in a conversation will display all recent messages containing that hashtag.

Note:
Hashtags must be between 2 and 30 characters.
They can include alphanumeric characters, hyphens (-), and underscores (_), but no other special characters.
Once you create a hashtag, you will automatically become a follower of it.
You can search for hashtags using "tags: keyword".
To follow a hashtag:
Click on the hashtag in a conversation.
Select Follow to receive updates related to that hashtag.
You can also follow a hashtag from the History page.
You can easily access all the hashtags you follow:
Navigate to the History module in the sidebar.
The Top 30 Hashtag Users in your organization's open channels will also be displayed here.
Hashtag Moments displays all messages from open channels containing files that are tagged with a hashtag.
The Organization Tag Cloud visualizes the most used tags within the organization's open channels.
Click on any hashtag to see the related conversations in the most recent order.
Click on a hashtag and then click on message search or advanced search to search and filter messages, and links which are tagged.
